Bio

Dick Erb has over 17 years of executive level experience with major companies. His background includes general management, financial management, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, business alliances and partnerships, strategic planning, management team development, employee empowerment and TQM. He has extensive international experience, including Mexico, South America, Europe, Southwest Asia, Australia and the Far East. In 1997, Mr. Erb opened the Allentown, PA office of Bluegrass Capital. In addition to M&A work, he leads the firm’s consulting activities in Strategic Thinking and Business Planning, the Executive Leadership Program, and the Management Development Program. His business career began in public accounting with Arthur Young & Company (now Ernst and Young) in New York City. He later joined Ingersoll-Rand Company, where he held senior level positions, including Vice-President, Controller of the Gas Compressor Group and Director of International Operations. He also directed Ingersoll Rand’s M&A activity. Subsequently he joined SKF USA, Inc. (the U.S. subsidiary of SKF AB Sweden) as Vice President-Controller, where together with a new management team, he helped engineer a major turnaround of the Company. He was later appointed Vice-President General Manager of the SKF Special Products Division, where he successfully led a turnaround of two of the division’ s units while achieving double digit growth in two other business units. He led the successful divestiture of two of these business units.
