Leticia Jauregui is a Venture Partner at LEAP Global Partners, where she helps source top investment opportunities in Mexico across fintech, digital insurance and SaaS. Leticia is a renowned socialpreneur. She is currently focusing on disruptive innovation and strategy as a consultant to companies in Mexico and the U.S. through LMJC Advisory Services. In 2008, Leticia founded Crea (www.crea.org.mx ) that trains & advises low-income women micro and small entrepreneurs in marginalized communities to strengthen & grow their businesses. To date, Crea has worked with over 160,000 women, benefiting them and close to 500,000 members of their families and communities. Leticia is very active in the LatAm entrepreneurial scene. She was recently a Co-Founder and CEO of Maquina, LatAm’s first insurtech and pensions innovation lab. Leticia also served as the Community Ambassador of Singularity University in Mexico and is a Co-Founder of Impact Hub Mexico City (mexico city.impact hub.net) that provides a unique platform for collaboration for high impact entrepreneurs in Mexico by giving them access to a dynamic workspace and a network of local and global contacts and resources. Prior to that, Leticia founded Tishi (http://tishi.mx/), an innovative electronics brand and e-commerce platform. Leticia has received multiple awards and recognition for her work as an entrepreneur, including being named one of the most powerful women in Mexico by Forbes, receiving an Echoing Green Fellowship, a GLG Social Impact Fellowship and a membership to the Global Shapers Community of the World Economic Forum. She’s a graduate of ITAM, in Mexico City, the University of California, Davis and Singularity University.
